Senate Bill 1905

This solution will make changes to teacher preparation by requiring training the science of reading.

Senate Bill 1906

This solution will update the Reading Sufficiency Act to be named the Strong Readers Act and will ensure that students' progression from one grade to another is determined, in part, by proficiency in reading and will require that school districts are facilitating quality reading instruction and intervention services. It will also require that parents be informed by the district on the student's reading progress so each child receives the necessary support to succeed in reading.

House Bill 3387 | House Bill 3388  House Bill 3396 | Senate Bill 1477

This solution will expand availability and eligibility for the Oklahoma Parental Choice Tax Credit. These bills propose various updates to the tax credit, including exempting certain eligible taxpayers from providing additional income verification, modifying procedures for the application process, changing the Oklahoma taxable income and adjusted gross income, among others.
